Oh happy day! I am so glad that Proposition 8 was overturned today. I know it's not over, but just knowing that my all of my friends in California will be receiving equal treatment under the law, and that some of them can marry their long time partners, and that my right-wing nut-job mom was WRONG makes me so happy.

I know I live in Canada now, where marriage equality is recognized nationally, but I like to see good things happening for my friends and good things happening for all people.
Next on the list - real nationalized healthcare and for Barack Obama to have better potential for reelection, because right now I unfortunately think his chances are super slim.
