Lauren Isaacson is a freelance market researcher and strategist. She has also been known to undertake user research and usability testing on a regular basis with great aplomb.
Lauren grew up in Los Angeles, California, went to college in Colorado, went back to California to work and eventually earn her MBA. Since earning her Masters degree, Lauren has had the privilege of working as a researcher and strategist at a variety of traditional and digital agencies as a researcher and strategist on behalf of a number of major national brands, including Nissan/Infiniti, GM, Microsoft, and Mastercard. Since striking out on her own and founding Curio Consulting, she has been delighted to add eHarmony, Glenmorangie Scotch Whiskey, Safeway, Jamba Juice, and many others to that list.
She is now married to wonderful and talented Canadian web designer, lives in Vancouver, BC, is a regular at the local farmers market, is addicted to Etsy and iPhone applications and games, spends far too much time on the computer, and her mother says that she should call more.
This blog is her outlet to write about whatever she sees fit. That usually involves food, the internet, culture, business, mobile technology, life in general, and whatever sparks her interest enough to write about it. This blog has sometimes been criticized for being too random, but to hell with them. This is her blog and those people can do whatever they like with theirs. Besides, one day she will appreciate how this was a record of her life and not just a bunch of ruminations on business and marketing.
Most proposals for PR content will be ignored. Proposals about potential market research, strategy, and usability testing work will be received with much joy and fanfare. These will be responded to at Lauren's most immediate convenience.
You may contact her through the contact form or through her business site, Curio Consulting.
